James Olverson
Clinical Lead

James Olverson qualified with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy From Edge Hill University and a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy from Manchester Metropolitan University. He is currently studying for his Masters Degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine.
Since qualifying as a Sports Therapist James had worked in professional football before returning to University to study Physiotherapy. Following the completion of his Physiotherapy degree he completed his core rotations within the NHS whilst continuing his work in football on a part time basis. James then progressed to a senior role within the outpatient setting of a large private hospital, where he worked, specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, treating a range of different injuries/conditions including chronic, sporting and post surgical. Alongside this role he was able to continue his work in football, at Liverpool FC academy, whilst taking on an additional role with the Lawn Tennis Association providing physiotherapy cover to professional tennis tournaments, such as; ITFATP and Davis Cup events.
James treats a range of musculoskeletal conditions drawing from his background in healthcare and also the sporting environment.
